Felix Herngrens film ”Dag för dag” är road movie om tre åldringar på husbilsresa genom Europa, som nog bäst kan beskrivas som en feelgood-film om – döden. Fem personer ger sig av ut i Europa för att uppfylla en äldre mans sista önskan. Vänskap utvecklas, kärlek uppstår och livsavgörande beslut fattas, en historia om att det aldrig är för sent att tänka om i livet. "Dag för dag" är en livsbejakande komedi med mycket humor och en del allvar. Filmen inleds på ett äldreboende där Tomas von Brömssen spelar den demente Tage. Där finns även Malte som spelas av Sven Wollter och Rut spelad av Marianne Mörck. På äldreboendet får vi möta vårdaren Katrin spelad av Martina Haag och städaren Simon som spelas av William Spetz. Den bjuder på en dos av mörk humor och trasiga karaktärer som tillsammans berättar en liten historia om det vackra i att leva och att dö. Och allt blir förstås extra rörande, för att Sven Wollter tragiskt nog gick bort innan premiären.
